Reiki is a powerful, natural system of healing that unlocks the inner flow of vital energy. REI means UNIVERSAL and KI means LIFE FORCE ENERGY (known in China as Chi as in Tai Chi). Reiki can aid in healing all illnesses and injuries – in some cases it can do things that medicine can’t do and do them more gently and positively. The energy eases pain, relaxes tense muscles and calms the emotions.

Reiki is a significantly beneficial holistic therapy increasing in popularity as we find ourselves more overwhelmed than ever by the stresses and strains of the modern world and its expectations. There has never been a more apt time and need for deeper self-care than now, with more people turning to complementary therapies to help alleviate and heal such symptoms as chronic pain, anxiety and trauma. With a desire to reduce stress levels and a longing for peace, rejuvenation and balance in our lives, we are becoming increasingly aware through experience, of the need to consider all parts of our being; the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual levels to bring our bodies back into wholeness and wellbeing.

The treatment is carried out with the client fully clothed; the therapist follows a series of positions with hands either lightly touching the body or just above the body – the positions balance the left and right hemispheres of the brain and balance the chakras and the energy field, allowing an increase in the body’s flow of life force Ki.

COSTS

New client appointment cost £55 (1hr 15min).

Follow up appointments cost £50 (1hr)

Each appointment consists of a consultation, approx 40-50 min treatment and a brief reflection afterwards.

Cancellations: no charge up to 48hrs notice before a booked session, a 50% charge for less than 48hrs notice and a full charge for missed appointments.
