Imelda
Twine
Hello, I am Imelda Twine and I am the longest
practising chiropractor in Wantage. I have been working
in Wantage since 1987 initially in the Civic Centre and
then mainly at WNHC. I also have clinics in my home near
Faringdon and at the White Horse Surgery in Faringdon.
Before
qualifying for my Diploma as a chiropractor in 1986 from
the
McTimoney
College, I worked as a Scientific Officer in a research
department in a large pharmaceutical company and
qualified as an Associate of the Institute
of
Biology. Prior to that I worked in the University
of
Oxford Biochemistry and Zoology departments as a senior technician and
studied for an HNC in Biochemistry.
Tony Dixon
Tony
qualified from the Mc Timoney College in Abingdon in
2005 with an Honours degree following four years of
study. Prior to this he was working as Director of a
Special Needs Housing Association with people with
Learning Disabilities and Mental Health problems. He is
a Member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association (MCA)
and an Associate Member of the College
of
Chiropractors.
In addition to working at Wantage Natural Therapy
Centre, Tony also has a practice at the Oxford Radcliffe
NHS Hospital Trust, treating the staff at the John
Radcliffe and Churchill
Hospitals
and also providing Occupational Chiropractic Care to
staff at a local company.
Tony has a particular interest in sports
chiropractic, working with business and the use and
benefits of Orthotics (Foot stabilisation and support.)
He lives locally in Wantage and is married with one
daughter.
Sarah
Rainbow
Sarah
graduated with a Biological Sciences degree from
Warwick
University
in 1993 and shortly after
this, her interest in chiropractic began while
accompanying her mother for treatment for migraines.
A
new job resulted in a move close to Wantage and prompted
Sarah to attend the college in Abingdon and qualify as a
chiropractor. Sarah lives in a village near Wantage and
is married with two young daughters.
Sarah
qualified from the
McTimoney
College
in Abingdon in 2009 with
BSC(Hons) Chiropractic after five years of study. During
this time Sarah was working as a project manager with a
large IT company.
Sarah
is a member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association
(MCA) and associate member of the
College
of
Chiropractors.
