Hypnotherapy,
Emotional Freedom Technique and Psychological Kinesiology
A
way to conquer your fears
Fears
and phobias affect and restrict many people. In some cases, the
anxiety is so strong that sufferers have to build their entire
life around it. Not being able to see loved ones in foreign
countries, not being able to go on that crucial business trip,
or even face that nasty big spider in the hotel room – it can
affect many aspects in life.
Tranquillisers
and relaxation techniques may be helpful. However, hypnotherapy,
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and Psychological Kinesiology
can put an end to the misery. Hypnotherapy, for some, might have
a bit of a dubious flavour to it. Common questions asked about
the treatment include: ‘Am I completely at the mercy of the
therapist?’, ‘Can he/she make me do something I do not want
to do?’, ‘Am I completely out of control during the
session?’ The answer to all of these is ‘no’.
Hypnotherapy
is a state of deep relaxation, not sleep. During the session,
the client is fully aware of what is going on around them, but
not affected by it. All that matters during the session is the
therapist’s voice. When the session is finished, the client
will come out of this state of deep relaxation refreshed and
alert.
However,
if it still does not sound like the right therapy for you, EFT
and Psychological Kinesiology are very effective, too. EFT
involves concentrating on the actual “problem” and tapping
certain areas of your body, mainly on the head and a hand.
Psychological
Kinesiology is targeted completely on the world of emotions, and
just a little bit of tapping. Children also benefit from this method. They do not have
to undress, and pressing muscles can be seen as a funny
„wrestling game“. The results can be amazing as children are
very sensitive and open-minded to so-called emotional therapies.
Good results have been achieved when it comes to Dyslexia and
Excema.

Monika
is a holistic therapist, Reiki Master and
Hypnotherapist who works in practices in Wantage,
Oxfordshire and in Shrivenham, Wiltshire. Monika is a
member of the Bund Deutscher Heilpraktiker and
Naturheilkundiger eV.
Background
I was born in Munich, Germany on September 9, 1961 and
my profession is Heilpraktikerin (trained natural
therapist). I qualified in March 2000, after 3
years "after-office-training" in an Institute
for Heilpraktiker and alternative therapies in Munich. I
had been working in the Export Department of a car
manufacturer since 1981, but I was always interested
in health matters and alternative therapies. I enjoy
helping people by making them feel better, and my aim is
to give the patient the best possible treatment. This
implies the combination of “conventional"
treatment based on human medicine whenever necessary as
well as alternative therapies, i.e. complementary
medicine - the co-operation and interaction between a
medical doctor and alternative therapist.
In early 2001, I opened my first practice on the
outskirts of Munich, and shortly after a second one in
Munich. In November 2002, my destiny changed and I moved
to England to start a new life. My aim is to treat
people holistically, so I try to combine the individual
therapy methods to achieve the best possible result. I
am trained in the following:
-
Hypnotherapy
and past life regression
-
Mineral
deficiency testing and kinesiology
-
Acupuncture
and pulse diagnosis based on traditional Chinese
methods
-
Implant
acupuncture for Parkinson’s Disease
-

-
Facial
Diagnosis and dietary advice by blood type
-
